Cancellation & Refund Policy

Introduction

At NagaDev, I am committed to delivering high-quality, custom-crafted digital solutions, including web development, web application engineering, and logo design. Because my services involve custom creative and technical work tailored specifically to your business, cancellations and refunds are handled according to the structured milestones outlined below.

Project Deposits

A 50% upfront deposit (or agreed milestone payment) is required before any design or development work commences. This deposit secures your project slot on my development calendar:

  • If you cancel the project before active design, research, or coding has begun, you will receive a full refund of the deposit, less a 5% administrative and transaction fee.
  • Once active design, layout creation, or coding has officially commenced, the upfront deposit becomes non-refundable to cover the dedicated hours set aside for your project.

Work-in-Progress Cancellations

If a project is cancelled by the client during active development, the cancellation terms are:

  • You must provide a written cancellation notice via email or official channels.
  • I will bill you for all hours worked and milestones completed up to the date of cancellation.
  • If the value of completed work is less than the deposit paid, the remaining balance will be returned to you. If the completed work exceeds the deposit, you agree to pay the outstanding balance within 7 days.
  • Upon cancellation, all licenses, design mockups, and codebase drafts remain the intellectual property of NagaDev, and you may not use any portion of the work.

Refund Eligibility & Exclusions

Refunds are issued solely on a case-by-case basis if I fail to deliver the agreed deliverables defined in the project proposal.

Exclusions (Non-Refundable Services)

The following services are strictly non-refundable:

  • Ad-hoc website bug fixes or troubleshooting tasks
  • Hourly consulting sessions
  • Third-party fees (hosting setups, domains, API subscription costs, or font licenses purchased on your behalf)
  • Completed milestones that have been reviewed and approved by the client

Refund Processing & Timeframe

Once a refund is approved in writing:

  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method (bank account, UPI, card, or PayPal).
  • In accordance with payment processor and banking standards in India, refunds will take 5 to 7 working days to reflect in your account.
  • You will receive an automated email confirmation once the transaction is initiated on my end.
